Drive Backup runs on the user's Android device and uploads only files from the folder the user selects.

• No developer-operated server receives account information, file metadata, or file content.
• Google authorization is handled by Google Identity Services.
• OAuth access tokens are held in memory only and are not stored by the app.
• The app requests the drive.file scope, which limits Drive access to files created or explicitly opened by the app.
• Backup diagnostics remain on the device until the user clears app data or removes them from the Diagnostics screen.
• The selected folder path, excluded paths, schedule, and signed-in account email are stored only in the app's private storage on the device.
• “All files access” is used only to read the folders the user explicitly chooses for backup. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or sharing.

Users can revoke access from their Google Account's connected-app settings and can remove local permissions from Android Settings at any time.
